Walking with "The most Marian Pope" this Week

A young Karol Wojtyla called the day he consecrated himself to Jesus through Mary a turning point in his life. Seeing the turn his life made, how can one not want to follow in this humble shepherd's footsteps?

For those of you preparing for your consecration on the Feast of the Assumption, welcome to a grace-filled week as you are guided by Blessed John Paul II ever closer to Mary who will lead you to the "unsearchable riches of Christ." This is a wonderful week in which we learn of Mary's maternal mediation, her unceasing gift of mercy, and how entrusting all to her leads to our consecration to Christ.

Share your experiences with us below. We'd love to hear how the Lord is working in your heart this week through the help and intercession of "The most Marian Pope."

On Saturday, the group in the parish shared our thoughts, memories and sentiments about Blessed John Paul II. Indeed, we all desire his love of Mary and Jesus, and his holiness and dedication. And so, while the whole book 33 Days to Morning Glory helps draw us closer to the 'Marian Mystery' (made so much clearer by our readings), yes it is the final week spent with JPII that is the turning point. We look forward -- all 25 of us to completing this beautiful consecration. Dcn Tom

Dcn Tom,
Thanks for sharing! It is so wonderful to hear of the experiences of groups around the country. I am on my 5th re-consecration with 33 Days to Morning Glory, and I just keep loving Blessed John Paul II more each time! Be sure to send us pictures and to let us know about your group's consecration. Until then (and even after) know that you remain in our prayers!
In the two hearts afire!
Kelly
